Based in Madrid, Álex Ramos Calvo is a specialist Qtake Operator and Video Assist technician with extensive experience on international commercial and fashion productions. He works closely with Directors and Directors of Photography to deliver flawless on-set playback and monitoring solutions.

From high-end automotive shoots to global sports campaigns, Álex has brought his expertise to productions for clients including Nike, Calvin Klein, Hermès, Emirates, Coca-Cola, Pepsi and Amazon — consistently working alongside world-class directors and cinematographers.

Passionate about the craft, Álex has built his own custom workstation optimised to run both Qtake Pro and Reeltime Pro at peak performance — a testament to his commitment to the finest on-set experience. This same drive led him to found Playing Back, a video assist company offering comprehensive playback services for productions in Spain and beyond.
